We have completely stripped the interior of this 2014 Princess 72 back to her bare bones, then transformed her into a modern delight, bespoke for our client. Working hand in glove with our client to create something truly personal to him – achieving the utmost luxury.

We start with the Before Galley partition which has been transformed into a bespoke contemporary shelving unit, remodelled furniture and a new headlining configuration with feature lighting – creating a head-turning design fit for tomorrow’s standard.
The Before Port side sofa was very dated and boxy – now replaced with two beautiful Giorgetti armchairs which have been designed into the shape of the unit to all flow as one. The aft corner table has been redesigned to match the shape of the armchair – every detail considered.
This involved intensive engineering work to rehouse wiring and the air conditioning unit which was originally hidden in the sofa, allowing our freestanding armchairs to sit back against the TV unit to open up the Saloon with more space.

A dated, dark finish to the Galley has been completely modernised with a bespoke sweeping curve to the front and a new solid surface top – transforming the area to feel much bigger and brighter. Painting the top lockers in a lighter colour matched to the Dinette table and other elements on this beautifully Remastered yacht complete the Galley enhancement.

Find Out MoreWe have totally transformed specific areas of the yacht to rival new from factory today, and therefore lifted the entire look and feel – creating a beautifully designed contemporary space and in essence, remodelling the heart of the yacht itself.
As you step into the Saloon, you are transformed into the present day through a modern, contemporary and comfortable seating area, beautifully updated helmseats in a light colour to lift the area, a bespoke coffee table offering versatility and space. A suite of scatter cushions and a removeable, cleanable woven flooring has been fitted over the teak, which can be easily cleaned and cared for, instead of being thrown away and replaced.
This flooring material is made using recycled sea plastic, and a proportion of profits are donated to The Marine Conservation charity.
This dash was in one of the worst conditions our team have seen – it had been totally destroyed by sun damage. Creating a sticky feel and dull appearance with sections that were deeply indented.
Respraying the dash was fundamental to this project, however it is a lengthy 2-week process that requires time and dedication to get right. Once complete it is evident that this has totally transformed the boat through expert refinement.

Both cabins showcase the finest layered textures with reupholstered headboards, new fitted bedcovers and scatter cushions to provide elevated yet intimate spaces. The Cabin portholes have been repaired to address corrosion damage and leakages.
Combining functionality and beauty, we have changed the dated exterior upholstery into a fresh, contemporary and much lighter alternative, specified by the client. The materials used are specifically for exterior spaces and can easily be wiped clean.

Some may wonder why we have refitted such a modern boat, being only 4 years old… she was in a good condition when we received her, however we have transformed an uninspired bland canvas by breathing life into certain areas of the boat, to a very high standard, lifting the entire yacht through modern design, luxury materials and high end finishes.
We showcased this yacht at the Southampton International Boat Show 2022 and fittingly, changed the name to ‘The Third Way’ as she demonstrates the value a Setag refit can offer.

We have added a new cockpit cover, reupholstered all seating with new foams for increased comfort and manufactured a painted tabletop with a solid surface inlay.
We have sprayed some of the lockers to tone down the amount of timber aboard, which creates a much more modern feel to the entrance, alongwith replacing a timber sideboard backsplash with a solid surface.
We covered the teak floor with a removable cleanable woven fabric as a practical solution to limit damage to the teak. This material is from a range made from recycled sea plastic.
We have completely uplifted the Saloon using the highest quality materials.
The helmseats have been recovered in Fendi leather with a black detail strip through the centre – with our SY logo in a striking black stitch. All handrails in the Saloon have been recovered and the pouffe has been reupholstered and the timber bridge has been leather wrapped, again to tone down the wood. We have also wrapped the glove box lid in leather and added a full suite of luxury scatter cushions.
The headboard and panel above have both been reupholstered in a modern, bright quality material in the Forward and quilted bed covers have been manufactured for all cabins.
The headboard and panel above have both been replaced in the Master. Removing mirrors in this way is a quick way to create a modern contemporary space. The Hermes material used for the panel above the headboard is no longer available to purchase, therefore, creating a one of a kind piece.
We have remodelled the sofa in a much more modern shape with rounded corners and a drop front to elongate the furniture. Leather panels have been added to both bedside tables and to the sideboard unit.
We have reupholstered the Flybridge seating and Forward sunpads with a modernised design that will stand the test of time – the helmseats are now a proud feature.
Stepping on board, you would think this is a 2022 factory built boat.

This was a very comprehensive refit as it involved spraying the exterior paint work to the hull band and comprised of an entire interior refit to this 37ft showstopper – transforming the yacht into the coolest Tomahawk around. Whilst paying homage to the original boat, we have restored and surpassed its faded glory – introducing modern touches in keeping with the owner’s contemporary cool lifestyle.
