At SETAG, we work with Quick Gyro gyroscopic stabilizers on our remaster projects to maximize stability and safety. Their gyroscopic technology can reduce boat roll by up to 95% and is equally effective whether sailing or at zero speed. This dedication to minimising on-board disruption wherever possible reveals their ethos of ‘comfort without compromise’.

When we upgrade your yacht’s stabilising technology, we will ensure you are left in control – the Quick Gyro stabilisers can be managed through a remote touch panel with 5” graphic display, controlled via a mobile app that will allow you to check the roll reduction percentage and the improvement in comfort, record the performance of the stabilizers and more – all via a swipe of your phone.

Fit for Purpose

What’s more, thanks to the system’s horizontal axis rotation system, the mechanical stress and friction on the bearings are reduced, therefore lowering heat output – without the need for a water-cooled system like many of the rival options. And because the Gyro flywheel rotates around a horizontal axis, evenly distributing the weight on the bearings, the weight is distributed better, requiring less rotations and less effort and promoting quicker stabilization.

Once we have got you on an even keel, our next test is to ensure a lighting system that is fit for purpose. The marine environment teaches us to use very high-quality materials which must resist salt, humidity, water splashes, extreme temperatures above and below zero – even if in the interior. This is why the Quick Marine Lighting style fulfills all our criteria for SETAG.
