Adam spent 25 years at Fairline Boats in Oundle, beginning with an internship in 1986 as an in-house designer and ending as Design and Technical Director, having worked on over 80 new models and winning numerous design awards during his time there.

He left Fairline in 2012 to set up his own brand, English Harbour Yachts, creating small, high quality, British-built boats, filling the gap in the market left when the big three builders in the UK moved out of small boats. The company was highly successful, winning awards for each new model.
