Sustainable Design

Finding natural alternatives that don’t compromise on comfort or style.

Reducing toxins without downgrading on comfort is key for Sarah Luck, our Design Director, who is an expert in sustainable interior design solutions. 

‘I’m a big believer in zero or minimal toxins in an environment. The foam in chairs, sofas and cushions breaks down as it ages and deteriorates, releasing dust foam particles into the air. These particles are toxic and we’re breathing them in, so that’s a problem we need to eliminate.’’

Working Together

We’re working with Enkev, who have a vast catalogue of natural, recyclable fibres, to recreate similar or higher comfort levels to conventional foam methods. Materials such as Cocolok, a coconut fibre wrapped in a natural latex create a comfortable, bouncy feel that offers a luxurious alternative to foam.

Our mattresses are made from British wool, which uses less energy to produce than artificial fibre mattresses. They are also recyclable at end of life and the keratin in the fibres makes them naturally fire retardant.

These natural alternatives don’t compromise on luxury and our expert team will tailor them to your preference, providing a custom product that is completely natural and minimises the contamination of our environment.
