We recently completed an exterior upholstery only upgrade on a 2014 Princess 43.
The boat remained on the owners berth in Weymouth for the project – once the design and the material specification was signed off – one of our skilled Craftsman visited the boat to remove all the upholstery and bring back to our HQ in Plymouth.
We use the old upholstery to assist with the pattern making of the new – importantly ensuring the fastening poppers or zips etc are in the exact right position; one of many helpful reasons to pattern off existing furniture.
We then manufacture the new seating, including all new foams – to a bespoke design agreed between the client and our design team.
The exterior upholstery has been modernised in a bold manner, using elegant, contrasting panels used in a way to completely transform the spaces. Along with a contrast stitched SY logo detail in the centre of the cockpit, flybridge and helmseat.
