Our client entrusted us with the restoration and customisation of a yacht once owned by his father, creating an intricate narrative of maritime legacy and timeless elegance. Driven by a desire to rejuvenate this vessel, he approached us with a vision to blend modern luxury with the sentimental charm of the past.
Now with his own children – our client wanted to create the perfect modern yacht for his family to enjoy with the sentimental memories attached.
This particular boat was transported by road to our HQ in Plymouth from Sweden for her refurbishment and then returned. Our client worked intimately with us throughout the project – since the yacht is so special to him, but even with regular updates throughout, there was a real ‘wow‘ factor when first stepping aboard seeing the transformation for the first time.
The result is more than a refitted yacht; it’s a floating testament to familial bonds and maritime passion. The vessel seamlessly marries the opulence of contemporary yacht design with the treasured memories of the past, offering a unique cruising experience that transcends time.

Our client has owned this yacht from 2006 so she is a yacht he knows, understands, is comfortable with. Before SETAG, his choices would have been – to run the risk and cost of changing what he knows for something he is unsure of, or to update in stages across the years with multiple suppliers involved.
Our client considered new but weighed up the economic benefits, and benefits in timing, of updating his loved boat and putting it into refit with us – making a sensible more economical, more sustainable choice.
Now he has something unique, modern, looking and smelling like it’s just left the factory, for an absolute fraction of the price of new.
