Saloon
This Sunseeker 82 saloon provided an perfect base for a fun and curvaceous redesign. We have significantly modernised the seating area with the removal of the timber from the upper part of the curved port side bulkhead, replacing this with a small, geometric weave material. Having opened up and enhanced the space visually, it was important to expand on the more shapely aspects of the saloon, creating beautiful bespoke sweeping sofas. The clean sofa design sports a quality sprung base and fixed curved backrests, which immediately update the design, bringing it in line with today’s expectations. The sofas have been finished with a top-stitched detail and the finest quality of indoor-outdoor fabric, for optimum effect and performance.
Centrally, we have specified a coffee table suitable for indoor and outdoor use. This piece, created by the Spanish design house Kettal, is a showstopper, with a marble top and powder-coated aluminium base.

The dining table has been considerately crafted in line with the coffee table finishes to fit perfectly within the dining area. Around it sit eight comfortable leather chairs by designer Poltrona Frau. A detailed colour change from timber to a light matte lacquer – together with the addition of soft mood lighting – lift the central ceiling, adding to the feeling of an updated, fresh interior. A plush carpet has been installed for that deep comfort and ‘home-from-home’ feeling. Fresh timber Venetian blinds now sit elegantly where the previously dark roman blinds once were, opening up the space and expanding your view of the horizon.
The final touch to complete any interior is the accessories package: here, ink blue and neutral colours in high-end fabrics add a sophisticated yet fresh feeling to the deep warmth of the cherry timber.
Master Cabin
The feeling of fresh sophistication is echoed in the master cabin. Light plantation shutters provide an important near-blackout function, whilst also lending a fresh and relaxed ambience to the cabin. Here we have removed the previous heavy, headlining design and replaced it with a fresh, modern material to brighten the space. Plush carpet now provides that deep comfort underfoot. The previously dated sofa has been removed and in its place now sits a beautifully-crafted bespoke two-seater with sprung base and fixed backrest, emulating the sophistication of the new saloon sofas. The bed base (still with ample storage) and headboard have been modernised with added comfort and a light, fresh, woven fabric. A simplified textural panel behind the headboard, with two practical reading lights and the addition of plush organic bed linen, make this a calming place to unwind and read a book or catch up on the day’s news.
The introduction of smooth new cupboard and drawer catches as well as matching door handles provides an important layer of quality to the redesign. The deep ink blue feature artwork, luxurious accessories and fresh upholsteries once again cool the warmth of the cherry timber, creating the perfect balance of colour and contrast in this now homely-feeling stateroom.
