Dan started as an Apprentice on car body paint repairs and then began his marine profession at Princess Yachts in 2012 as a Painter – becoming a Section Lead in 2020 focusing on the F and S Class ranges from 55ft and upwards.

Now part of the Setag team, Dan’s precision attention to detail and a clear understanding of the meticulous process needed to achieve the best finish – can change the character of a boat. Working closely with Sarah and the Design team, we are able to elevate any wood and paint work, internally and externally, to surpass modern day standards – truly bringing the boats back to life.

Spraying Galley units and Helm dash panels, bespoke table tops with a painted finish and painting the hull and superstructure – along with general wood & paint repairs are a few of Dan’s specialties.

In his downtime Dan enjoys playing golf, spending time with his children and is a fan of 90s music – particularly the Stone Roses and Oasis.
